On-device scanning
Answer-sheet images, bubble detection and grading are processed locally by the Android app. You can use the core scanning workflow without enabling cloud sync.
Account and synced information
When you create an account and choose to sync, ScanScore stores the account details and academic records needed to provide backup and dashboard features. This can include classes, students, exams, answer keys and results.
Problem reports
If you submit a report, we receive your description along with the app version, Android version, manufacturer, model, SDK level and locale. Reports do not include a hardware identifier or personal files.
Your choices
You may keep using offline features without syncing. Contact us to request help with account data or deletion.
