No. ScanScore makes the answer sheet for you as a PDF, and it prints on plain A4 paper on any ordinary printer in black ink. There is no OMR machine to buy, no scanner to buy and no special stationery to order.
The sheets carry a printed black frame, four corner marks, edge marks and two coded tags. The app uses those to find the paper, straighten a photo taken at an angle and know exactly where every bubble should be. It also checks the picture quality and tells you when a bubble is unclear instead of guessing. You can look through any paper and fix a mark by hand before saving.
Yes, completely. Scanning, marking, reviewing and exporting all happen on the phone. You only need a connection to download the app, or if you choose to turn on backup and the browser view.

One seat per person, ₹899 each per year, and you are one of the seats — so two people is ₹1,798 a year. Staff join with your code and you give them a seat. Everyone renews on the same day, so a teacher hired mid-year only costs you the months that are left. Seats can be paused or taken back as staff change, and your logo and colours on parent-facing pages are included.
No. Pro is one payment for one year, and nothing is ever charged again unless you choose to pay. The date your year ends is at the top of your subscription page and in the app, so you can renew when you are ready. Pay again before it ends and the new year is added on to the end of the one you have, so no paid time is lost. Organisation seats work the same way.

Scanning and marking happen on your phone and nothing is uploaded unless you turn on backup yourself. When backup is on, your exams and results are visible only to you, your school admin, and any family you share a student code with.
Any Android phone or tablet on Android 7.0 or newer with a working rear camera. A normal 8 to 12 megapixel camera is far more than bubble reading needs, so budget phones are fine. The web part runs in any modern browser, including on Windows, Mac, iPad and Chromebook.
